Some people are easy to buy for: they drink coffee. Here is what we would send them, from our cafés in Kelowna and Princeton, with something at every price.
For the one who brews at home: Giobean whole bean, $28.50
The same coffee we pour in both cafés, roasted in the Okanagan by Giobean. Three 400 g bags to choose from:
- Taormina, dark roast. Dark and strong, with a hint of sweet chocolate. The one for espresso and milk drinks.
- Siena, medium roast. Toffee, marzipan and roasted almond. The everyday coffee for drip and pour-over.
- Portofino, decaf. Swiss Water Process, with citrus and dark chocolate. For the evening cup.
Not sure which? Send all three. The set comes to $85.50 and ships free anywhere in Canada. If they are new to whole bean, point them to how to brew it at home.
For the tea drinker: Tulameen tea, from $18.99
Every cup of tea at Frannie's comes from our sister company, Tulameen Tea Company. There are seven teas to choose from, including Otter Lake Orange Pekoe, Premium Earl Grey and Missezula Green Tea, in bags of 20, 30 or 50.
For the one who misses the Okanagan: the Okanagan tee, from $34.95
A retro sunset over the lake, with pines on the shore and vineyard rows on the hillside. It suits anyone who grew up here, moved away, or spends the winter waiting for summer on the lake.
For the Princeton local, past or present: the Princeton tee, from $34.95
Our original café, illustrated across the front, with “Princeton • British Columbia” underneath. A good one to send to family who have left town.
For cold mornings: the hoodies, from $69.95
Two medium-heavy fleece pullovers. The logo hoodie carries the Frannie's “F” on the left chest. The varsity hoodie has FRANNIE'S in arched collegiate lettering.
For the regular: a Frannie's gift card, $25 to $100
A physical card, mailed to you or straight to them, in $25, $50, $75 or $100. It is good at both cafés.
