Staying at the Grand, in town for a game at Prospera Place, or just downtown for the afternoon? Here's an easy loop along the Kelowna waterfront that starts and ends at Frannie's on Water Street.
Start at Frannie's, 1320 Water St
We're at street level in the Delta Hotels Grand Okanagan building, across from the Kelowna Art Gallery. Grab an espresso, a latte or a pot of Tulameen tea to go, and something from the pastry case. We open at 7am every day, so an early start works.
North to Waterfront Park
Step out toward the lake and follow the boardwalk into Waterfront Park: lagoons, lawns, and open views up Okanagan Lake. It's the quietest stretch of the walk in the morning.
South along the boardwalk
Turn back south and follow the water past the marina and the Kelowna Yacht Club to the foot of Queensway, where the Spirit of Sail sculpture stands over the lake. It's the classic Kelowna photo stop.
On to City Park
Keep going south and you reach City Park, with its beach, big trees, and the bridge views across the lake to West Kelowna. Plenty of spots to sit with whatever's left in your cup.
Back for a second cup
Loop back up Water Street to Frannie's for a refill. Our hours:
